Drell-Yan Experiments for determining nucleon partonic structure

Drell-Yan process is a powerful experimental tool for exploring nucleon quark structures. In this talk I will give a brief review of how unique information of sea quark distributions was obtained in Drell-Yan experiments and introduce the coming CERN COMPASS experiment for extracting the transverse-momentum-dependent Sivers functions in the polarized Drell-Yan process.

Finally the feasibility study of determining generalized parton distribution of nucleon using high-momentum pion beam at J-PARC
facility in Japan will be presented.
