Clustering Function of Membrane Proteins from Sequence Similarity Networks: Relationships among Sequence, Structure and Function

Network classification is one of the fundamental problems in recognizing patterns of biological networks. Here, we proposed a method to classify membrane proteins (MPs), which play a key role in a wide variety of biological processes and have important clinical applications, and demonstrated its superiority over previous methods in classifying the structure and function of TM proteins from only sequence information.
